Evening Warehouse Operative

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Evening Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic team within a prestigious wine investment company. This organisation is at the forefront of the wine investment space, dedicated to helping customers build their portfolios of fine wines while ensuring the utmost professionalism and quality in their services. As an Evening Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the warehouse during the evening shift.

So what does the role look like?

Goods In – Checking in stock from various sources, ensuring products match relevant documentation, and escalating discrepancies to your line manager.
Goods Out – Picking and packing customer orders in accordance with internal SLAs.
Stock Counting – Assisting with the daily count of the warehouse to ensure all locations are counted at least twice per year.
Damage Reporting – Reporting any damages within the warehouse to the Warehouse Manager, including damage to MHE and stock.
General Warehouse Duties – Keeping workstations and the warehouse clean and tidy to maintain a safe working environment.
Flexibility – You may be required to work additional hours during busy periods to support business needs.

Industry-standard experience within an order-picking warehouse.
Background in working with high-value products.
Familiarity with handheld devices for stock management.
Experience operating MHE (VNA, Counterbalance etc.)
Driving license is essential.
Personal qualities include a can-do attitude, team player spirit, and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to multitask and operate efficiently under pressure.
Highly motivated self-starter with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and a flexible “job not hours” mindset.

Working hours: 4pm to midnight, Monday to Friday.
