So what does the role look like?

Oversee daily operations and ensure timely and accurate processing of all documentation.
Monitor and manage shipment schedules to ensure customer requirements and delivery deadlines are met.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth logistics and cargo handling.
Resolve operational issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining open lines of communication with clients and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to operations for accuracy and compliance.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve operations.

So do you have what it takes?

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and compliance regulations.
Strong IT skills, particularly in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to handle a dynamic workload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to act decisively in a fast-paced environment.
