Our client is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Pricing and Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic team. So what does the role look like?

Communicating with suppliers, airlines, and shipping line hauliers
Managing tenders and RFQs
Negotiating rates and contracts
Providing accurate pricing and spot quotes
Utilising the Cargowise platform for all aspects of pricing and sales
Maintaining strong knowledge of carriers – both sea and air
Ensuring comprehensive knowledge of sea freight operations
Regularly liaising with clients (agents) and customers to foster relationships
Conducting regular meetings with airlines, hauliers, and suppliers to build strong partnerships

So do you have what it takes?

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the shipping and logistics industry
Proven expertise in negotiating rates and terms with suppliers
Experience dealing with tenders and RFQs
Profound knowledge of sea and air carriers
Competency in using the Cargowise platform
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong relationship-building skills and customer service ethos
