So what does the role look like?

Coordinating and managing the night operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Monitoring fleet status and providing real-time updates to ensure efficient route planning and resource utilisation.
Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams to address and resolve any operational issues promptly.
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, driver hours, and vehicle status.
Ensuring compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures.
Conducting regular checks to ensure the safety and security of the fleet and cargo.

Proven experience in a similar role within the haulage or logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in transport management systems.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
Effective communication abilities to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
