Our client is seeking a Night Traffic Operator

As part of their dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their operations run smoothly, particularly throughout the night.
So what does the role look like?

Manage and coordinate shift schedules for drivers, ensuring optimal coverage throughout the night.
Handle driver sickness and absences proactively, reallocating jobs to ensure continued service delivery.
Respond to breakdowns and emergencies effectively, providing timely solutions to minimise disruption.
Communicate daily with drivers to address and resolve any arising issues, ensuring a supportive and responsive work environment.

So do you have what it takes?

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

Experience in logistics or haulage industry is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, particularly in traffic management or operations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet.
Proficient IT skills, including the use of transport management systems.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with drivers and other team
members.
