As a Maintenance Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their extensive fleet while building strong client relationships.

So what does the role look like?

Coordinating and ensuring that all MOTs are carried out in a timely manner.
Building and nurturing strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met.
Proactively upselling services and products to enhance client experiences.
Maintaining and overseeing client rental agreements to ensure compliance.
Monitoring the condition and performance of the fleet, providing insights as necessary.
Collaborating with the operations and maintenance teams to improve efficiency.

So do you have what it takes?

Experience in the logistics or transport industry, ideally with a focus on mechanical aspects of HGVs and trailers.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or operations role.
Strong mechanical knowledge of HGVs and trailers is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficiency in using IT systems relevant to fleet management and maintenance.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
