Our client is seeking a Maintenance Controller

A prominent rental company based in Felixstowe, our client is part of a larger, nationally recognised organisation. Renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional maintenance solutions for their esteemed trailer fleet. As a Maintenance Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the company’s operational efficiency is maintained whilst providing top-notch service to customers.

So what does the role look like?

Analyse and review maintenance invoices to ensure cost-effective management of the trailer fleet.
Collaborate with internal and external workshops to optimise and streamline maintenance processes.
Manage customer requests efficiently, seeking the most economical solutions.
Oversee parts suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality service.
Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies that align with company goals.

So do you have what it takes?

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or logistics role, preferably within the trailer sector.
Strong knowledge of trailer maintenance processes and standards.
Excellent IT skills, being comfortable with maintenance management software and analytics tools.
Proficient communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and workshops.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and cost management.

Here’s the package breakdown for you…

Normal working hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 to 18:00 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Holidays: 22 days per annum plus bank holidays.
Salary: £30,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
