So what does the role look like?

Identify, target, and engage potential customers across various trade lanes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their shipping needs and provide tailored solutions.
Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, follow-up, and closing strategies.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of client orders.
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to clients.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the shipping industry.
Manage CRM systems to track sales activities and report on performance metrics.

Experience in a sales role, preferably within the shipping and logistics industry.
Strong understanding of trade lanes and logistics operations.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in IT and CRM systems for tracking sales activities.
