So what does the role look like?

Manage and coordinate FCL and LCL import shipments from start to finish.
Oversee customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, shipping lines, and customers to maintain smooth operations.
Resolve any issues that arise during the import process, utilising problem-solving skills.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all import activities.
Monitor shipments and provide updates to clients, building strong relationships.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure best practices.

So do you have what it takes?

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in import operations, particularly in FCL and LCL shipments.
Hands-on knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
Experience or knowledge of European road logistics preferred.
Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in relevant IT systems and software used in the logistics industry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.

Working hours: 0900 – 1730, Monday to Friday.
Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and expertise.
