So what does the role look like?
Review and manage import documentation for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding import inquiries and releases.
Coordinate and track the release of imported goods, ensuring timely delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any import issues effectively.
Source and maintain a robust understanding of current import regulations and industry protocols.
Assist in streamlining import processes to improve overall efficiency.
So do you have what it takes?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in import operations within the shipping or logistics industry.
Proven understanding of import customer service, documentation, and release processes.
Strong knowledge of relevant customs regulations and compliance procedures.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer relations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
