Job Role: Import and Export Customer Services

You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operational workflows and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction while liaising with various stakeholders.

So what does the role look like?

Handle customer inquiries related to import and export services efficiently and professionally.
Coordinate with shipping lines, ports, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and delivery of consignments.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and customer interactions.
Provide clients with shipment updates and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.
Support the sales team with quotations and customer-specific needs.
Assist in the continual improvement of internal processes and systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

So do you have what it takes?

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in import and export customer service or a similar role within the shipping industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures, regulations, and documentation.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and shipping software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A customer-focused attitude, with a clear commitment to providing excellent service.
