Our client is seeking a HR and Payroll Assistant

In this integral role, you will support the payroll functions and assist in HR activities, enhancing the experience of employees through efficient and effective processes.
So what does the role look like?
Processing payroll accurately on a monthly basis, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection and employment legislation.
Assisting with recruitment processes, including issuing contracts and onboarding new employees.
Handling employee inquiries related to payroll and HR policies, delivering high-quality customer service.
Supporting benefits administration, including liaising with external providers when necessary.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR and payroll processes.
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
So do you have what it takes?
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a payroll or HR administration role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and employment legislation.
Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with staff at all levels.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
