As the Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their container delivery services while leading a team of skilled professionals. Your daily tasks will involve oversight of the fleet, maintenance management, and enhancing operational efficiencies.

So what does the role look like?
” Manage and oversee the operation of a fleet of up to 80 container trucks.
” Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
” Develop and implement maintenance programmes to prolong vehicle life and reduce downtime.
” Monitor vehicle performance and fuel efficiency, providing recommendations for improvements.
” Coordinate scheduling and routing to optimise delivery times and enhance customer satisfaction.
” Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of fleet drivers and staff.
” Maintain inventory records and manage procurement of spare parts and supplies.
” Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure fleet efficiency and safety.
