So what does the role look like?

” Oversee the financial operations and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
” Prepare and present both periodic and annual financial reports to senior management.
” Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organisation.
” Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and provide financial insights.
” Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimise financial performance.
” Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
” Implement robust financial controls and procedures in line with industry standards.
” Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in financial operations.

So do you have what it takes?

” Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance management role, preferably within the logistics or haulage industry.
” Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting practices specific to the transport sector.
” Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
” Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
” Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
” Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.
