Experienced Credit Controller
Job Description
Our client is seeking an Experienced Credit Controller to join a dynamic team at a company specialising in customs clearance. So what does the role look like?
Managing and processing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
Identifying and resolving issues related to unallocated cash and unpaid invoices.
Conducting credit checks on new customers and establishing credit limits.
Preparing monthly debt analysis reports and contributing to cash flow forecasting.
Working closely with sales and operations teams to resolve any customer disputes or queries promptly.
Implementing credit control policies and procedures to improve collection efficiency.
So do you have what it takes?
Proven experience as a Credit Controller, ideally within the shipping and logistics industry.
A minimum of 3-5 years of credit control experience.
Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and CRM systems.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
