Job Role: European Road Freight Operations Clerk

Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated European Road Freight Operations Clerk to join their dynamic haulage firm, which is renowned for its robust European arm. So what does the role look like?

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of European road freight movements.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for import and export activities.
Track shipments and resolve any issues related to freight delays or logistics challenges.
Analyse and enhance operational processes to improve overall efficiency.
Ensure compliance with EU transport regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with internal departments to streamline transportation and delivery schedules.

So do you have what it takes?

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the freight and logistics sector.
Solid knowledge of European road freight operations and regulations.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in freight management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a dynamic working environment.

Working hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (flexible to accommodate 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays.
