So what does the role look like?
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of European road freight shipments.
Ensure compliance with regulations related to the transport of hazardous materials.
Plan and optimise route schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, customers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including customs clearance when necessary.
Monitor and report on all aspects of the transportation process to ensure service quality.
Assist in the resolution of any operational issues that may arise during transport.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
So do you have what it takes?
Relevant experience in road freight operations or logistics (preferably in a European context).
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
In-depth understanding of transport regulations, particularly concerning hazardous materials.
Proficiency in IT systems and freight management software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a commitment to superior customer service.
