So what does the role look like?
Manage the day-to-day operations of the European road freight division, ensuring seamless logistics for clients.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
Oversee carrier selection, relationship management, and negotiation of rates to ensure competitive pricing.
Monitor compliance with European road transport regulations and company policies.
Lead a dedicated team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, legislation, and best practices in road freight transportation.
Prepare reports and analyses for senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement.
So do you have what it takes?
Proven experience in road freight management, with a focus on European logistics.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the freight or logistics sector.
Strong knowledge of European transport regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Proficient in logistics and freight management software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead effectively.

Working hours: 8 am – 4 pm (flexible to accommodate 9 am – 5 pm)
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
