Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Depot Operations and Sales Manager to join their thriving truck and trailer rental company, renowned for its diverse range of rental solutions throughout the UK. With multiple sites across the country, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and tailored support to meet their clients’ unique needs.

So what does the role look like?

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the depot to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Lead and motivate a dedicated team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
Implement industry best practices to optimise depot operations and enhance overall performance.
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide reports on sales trends.
Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Proven experience in truck and trailer rentals and sales is essential.
A minimum of 5 years in a depot management role, with a strong sales and business development background.
Sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and rental management software.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to engage clients effectively.
