Customer Service Representative
Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic intermodal logistics team. Known for their commitment to providing efficient and reliable freight transportation solutions, our client plays a pivotal role in connecting businesses across the country. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be at the forefront of ensuring exceptional client experiences, fostering relationships, and contributing to the smooth operation of their services.
So what does the role look like?
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, and live chat.
Assist customers with booking shipments, tracking orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure the successful delivery of services.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company’s CRM system.
Provide feedback and insights to help enhance customer service processes and offerings.
Handle complaints and escalations effectively, striving for a positive resolution.
Work closely with the sales team to support new customer onboarding and retention efforts.
So do you have what it takes?
Proven experience in a customer service role within the logistics, shipping, or intermodal transportation industry.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes and operations.
Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-centric approach.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet to provide quick resolutions.
Here’s the package breakdown for you…
Competitive salary of £28,000 per year.
Temporary to permanent position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with one week every four where you will work from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
