Our client is seeking a Concrete Pump Driver to join their expert team delivering premium site-mix and ready-mixed concrete across East Anglia. With plants in Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, and Norwich, they cater to construction, trade, and DIY projects, ensuring flexible delivery schedules and multi-mix options. Known for their reliable service and modern fleet, they are committed to offering high-quality concrete solutions.

So what does the role look like?

Drive concrete pump trucks to and from each project site punctually and responsibly
Evaluate site conditions and collaborate with contractors or supervisors to appropriately park and set up the truck
Operate boom and concrete pump to place concrete in desired locations, focusing on site instructions
Load and unload concrete pump attachments ensuring all tools are used safely
Clean concrete pumps at the end of the day to maintain good working condition and minimise breakdowns and downtimes
Implement all safety and precautionary measures before, during, and after each project

So do you have what it takes?

Previous experience in operating concrete pumps
Proven track record of working in construction or a similar industry
Minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience
Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 licence
Good understanding of health and safety regulations
Proficiency in using boom and concrete pump machinery
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow given instructions meticulously
