Job Description

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Concrete Pump Driver to join their dynamic team. With a commitment to delivering excellence in concrete supply and delivery, they operate across a wide area, including Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and North Essex. Their strategic network of state-of-the-art batching plants and experienced local teams enables them to serve both urban and rural projects, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and quality for even the most complex builds.

So what does the role look like?
Evaluate site conditions and collaborate with contractors or supervisors to park and set up the truck properly.
Operate the boom and concrete pump to accurately place concrete in desired locations, adhering closely to site instructions.
Load and unload concrete pump attachments, ensuring all tools are utilised safely.
Perform daily cleaning of concrete pumps to maintain equipment in good working order, minimising breakdowns and downtime.
Implement all necessary safety measures before, during, and after each project.

So do you have what it takes?

Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete pumping or a similar role.
Proven reliability and a customer-focused approach.
Punctuality with excellent communication skills to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
Good level of mathematical aptitude for precise measurements and calculations.
Strong Health and Safety awareness.
Possession of a full HGV Licence, Driver Qualification Card, and Driver CPC.
Good geographical knowledge of Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and North Essex is advantageous.
Flexibility in approach and eagerness to learn various aspects of the business to perform diverse duties.
