Branch Manager – Air Freight
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead their Air Freight division. This global freight forwarding company prides itself on delivering exceptional logistics solutions and outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving growth, and ensuring the highest standards of service while enhancing the company’s reputation as a leader in the air freight sector.
So what does the role look like?
Manage and coordinate daily operations of the Air Freight branch, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of logistics professionals to achieve performance targets and execute service excellence.
Implement strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and expand the branch’s market presence.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal processes, and quality standards.
Prepare and manage the branch budget, forecasting revenue, and managing expenses effectively.
Conduct regular staff meetings, provide updates, and ensure the team is aligned with the company’s objectives.
Act as the key point of contact for any operational issues, promptly resolving concerns to maintain client satisfaction.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in air freight management or a similar role within the logistics sector.
Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, compliance, and best practices.
Proficient in IT systems related to freight management and logistics operations.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing talent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
